Here's a little tool to migrate your mailboxes ( including folder hierachy ) from MacOS X Mail.app to mozilla's Thunderbird ( tested with Thunderbird 0.8 and 0.9 ).
This a quick hack and i strongly suggest that you backup you Mail.app mail folder before using it !
Once you're ready, it's pretty straight forward to use it.
Just run mbxImport.py srcpath dstpath
with:
- srcpath path to the Mail.app Mail folder (ex: ~/Library/Mail/Mailboxes )
- dstpath dstpath: path to the Thunderbird Local Mail directory ( ex: ~/Library/Thunderbird/Profiles/anpkbjqy.default/Mail/Local\ Folders/
